Description: |
The successful applicant will participate in scientific
product research and development efforts.
Responsibilities
• Plan, organize, and conduct scientific experiments
in a laboratory environment.
• Reagent/Buffer solution preparation.
• Maintenance of laboratory notebook as an up-to-date
detailed log of experiments and ongoing research efforts.
• Operation of laboratory equipment including thermal
cyclers, centrifuges, lyophilizers, etc.
• Assist supervisors and/or associates as needed.
Qualifications
• BS in the life sciences (e.g., Molecular Biology,
Microbiology, Biochemistry or related discipline).
• Preference will be given to those individuals experienced
with PCR, Gel-electrophoresis, blotting methods, endonuclease
digestion, and a general knowledge of DNA and RNA-based
laboratory procedures.
• Basic computer skills that include word processing
and spreadsheet use (i.e., Microsoft Word and Excel).
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and
organizational skills is a must.
• Previous research experience is preferred.

company policies and procedures, including quality, safety,
and environmental policies.
Qualifications
• Ability and desire to work in a manufacturing environment.
• B.S. or equivalent. An emphasis in science, engineering,
or math is preferred.
• Must have basic computer skills that include word
processing and spreadsheet use (i.e., MS Word and Excel).
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational
skills is a must.
• Comfortable working with possibly dangerous and/or
corrosive chemicals.
• Prior experience in a biology manufacturing field
or warehouse stockroom experience is a plus.
