ENRICHMENT
The protein, JBP-1, binds glucosyl-5-hmC with high affinity and is the key component in the Quest 5-hmC™ Enrichment Kit for selective enrichment of 5-hmC DNA from genomic DNA preparations. Enriched DNA is ideal for Next-Gen sequencing, array, and qPCR.

GLOBAL QUANTITATION
The Anti-5-hmC Polyclonal Antibody offers the greatest sensitivity for 5-hmC DNA available, and importantly demonstrates no crossreactivity with 5-mC modifications. It can be used successfully in immunodetection and immunopreciptation procedures requiring antibodies exhibiting high specificity. The Quest 5-hmC™ ELISA Kit features a streamlined workflow for rapid immunodetection and global quantitation of 5-hmC in DNA from any preparation.

DNA Degradase™ and DNA Degradase Plus™ enzymes are available for fast and accurate 5-mC and 5-hmC quantitation via chromatography and spectroscopy.

SITE-SPECIFIC DETECTION
5-hmC Glucosyltransferase can catalyze the addition of glucose to 5-hmC in DNA creating glucosyl-5-hmC. This can be used to differentiate between 5-hmC and 5-mC in DNA using glucosyl-sensitive endonucleases (MspI, MrcBC, etc.). The Quest 5-hmC™ Detection Kit consolidates these technologies for efficient site-specific detection of 5-hmC in DNA.

Zymo Research offers a DNA Standard Set for 5-mC and 5-hmC quantitation applications (i.e. - mass spectrometry, HPLC, TLC, etc.). The DNA also serves as an excellent substrate for studies involving 5-hydroxymethylcytosine interacting proteins. Additionally dNTPs containing 5-hmC are available for generating amplicons for 5-hmC studies.

QuestTaq™ is a DNA polymerase that can be used for non-biased amplification of C, mC, and 5-hmC DNA in real-time PCR.
