DESCRIPTION The DNA Clean & Concentrator™-500 was designed for the rapid, large format purification and concentration of up to 500 µg of high quality DNA from samples including large-scale restriction endonuclease digestions and "crude" DNA preparations. The DCC™-500 features a single buffer system that allows for efficient DNA adsorption onto the matrix of the supplied Zymo-Spin™ column. The DNA is washed twice using a centrifuge or vacuum source then eluted with a small volume (≥ 1 ml) of water using a centrifuge. The procedure is easy: simply add the specially formulated DNA Binding Buffer to your sample then transfer the mixture to the supplied to your sample then transfer the mixture to the supplied Zymo-Spin™ column. There is no need for organic denaturants or chloroform. Instead, the product features unique column technology to yield high quality, purified DNA in just minutes. DNA purified using the DCC™-500 is suitable for DNA sequencing, DNA transfection, RNA transcription, microarray analysis, PCR, nucleotide blotting, restriction endonuclease digestion, etc.
