SPECIFICATIONS

•	Format: Spin Column.
•	RNA Purity: High quality, purified RNA is eluted into RNase-free water that is suitable for RNA-based manipulations including RTPCR.
•	RNA Storage: Recommended that 1 U/10 µl RNase inhibitor be added to the RNA prior to storage at -70°C.
•	RNA Size Limits: From 200 bases up to 35 kb.
•	Sample Sources: RNA from agarose gel slices.
•	RNA Recovery: Typically, RNA is eluted with ≥ 6 µl RNase-free water allowing for a highly concentrated sample. Recovery is approximately 80-95% of input RNA. The RNA binding capacity of the supplied column is 5 µg.
•	Equipment: Microcentrifuge.

The Zymoclean Gel RNA Recovery Kit™ allows for the efficient recovery of RNA from agarose gels into small volumes of RNase- free water. The result is highly-concentrated, purified RNA that is suitable for subsequent RNA-based manipulations including RT-PCR, riboprobe purification/recovery, RNase protection, etc.
