Zymolyase
Our liquid yeast lytic enzyme is prepared from Arthrobacter
luteus, and is formulated for maximum activity. The primary
yeast lytic activity is B-1,3-glucan laminaripentaohydrolase.
It hydrolyzes glucose polymers at the B-1,3-glucan linkages
releasing laminaripentaose as the principal product. Optimal
temperature range for use of this enzyme is 30-37°C. Works
for spheroplasting.
