Digital Marketing Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Digital Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team at Zymo Research. As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies that drive awareness to our brand and technologies, generate leads, increase sales, and grow our digital presence. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and Execute Digital Marketing Strategy: Create a holistic digital marketing strategy that incorporates SEO, PPC, content marketing, social media, and other digital channels, aligned with our brand's vision, values, and unique value propositions.
- Understand the Zymo Research Brand: Deeply understand our brand identity, voice, and personality to ensure that marketing communications accurately represent the brand and resonate with our target audience.
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Oversee and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve website visibility on search engine results pages (SERPs)
- Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Advertising: Manage PPC campaigns across platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads, social media) to drive targeted traffic and conversions
- Lead Generation and Conversion Optimization: Implement strategies for improving lead generation and customer acquisition across digital touchpoints.
- Digital Presence Expansion: Continuously explore new digital marketing opportunities and partnerships.
- Content Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate with the content team to develop compelling and SEO-friendly content that reflects our brand values and speaks directly to our target audience's needs and interests.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize analytics tools to track campaign performance, prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), and derive actionable insights for optimizing strategies while maintaining the brand's essence.
- Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Identify areas for improvement in the conversion funnel, working with marketing and design teams to optimize landing pages and user experience while adhering to brand guidelines.
- Social Media Integration: Integrate social media strategies into the overall digital marketing plan to enhance brand awareness, engage the audience, and drive traffic to our digital properties while staying true to our brand values.
- Team Collaboration: Actively collaborate with various departments, including marketing, design, content, and customer success, to ensure seamless execution of digital marketing initiatives.
- Industry Trends: Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the life science industry and digital marketing landscape, applying this knowledge to continuously innovate our marketing strategies.
- Remain Agile and Innovative: The successful Digital Marketing Specialist will be a dynamic team player, ready to embrace new challenges and support various marketing initiatives as they arise. Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Life Sciences, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in digital marketing, preferably within the life science or biotechnology industry.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, social media advertising platforms, and marketing automation tools.
- Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, PPC advertising, content marketing, and social media strategies aligned with brand values.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and articulate the brand's values in marketing efforts.
- Results-oriented, self-driven, and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while staying true to our brand values.
- Team player with strong collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.

The estimated salary for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
