Summary/Contribution of Position:

Zymo Research is looking for a Marketing Analyst to join our Commercialization team. The Marketing Analyst will research consumer behavior, market trends and opportunities, and will also assist the marketing team by managing daily marketing tasks. Ultimately, you will help us ensure we understand the market while also helping us effectively reach our customers.

The successful Marketing Analyst will collaborate closely with marketing managers, account teams, and product managers. The ideal candidate will be looking for a career path in marketing within the MedTech and/or bioscience industries. If you are looking to join a dynamic, growing team in a high-impact role, we want to speak with you. The position is full-time and is based in the Zymo Research operations office in Tustin, CA.


Marketing Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research to help Zymo better understand the market
  • Gather and analyze consumer behavior data (digital metrics, leads generated, etc.)
  • Assist in building integrated marketing campaigns and plans across various channels
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Managers and Content teams to create marketing materials (e.g. brochures and newsletters)
  • Keep organized records of marketing metrics and results of past campaigns
  • Monitor competitors’ marketing activities
  • Create marketing and sales reports
  • General marketing support


Marketing Manager Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or Management, or related field. M.B.A. and/or Minor in the Biological Sciences (e.g., molecular biology) is a plus
  • An agile learner with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience
  • A genuine interest in pursuing a career in marketing
  • Ability to analyze data and with the goal of uncovering insights
  • Strong execution capability in a complex, rapidly evolving business
  • Self-starter with excellent self-leadership skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with relevant technology (MSOffice – Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Project Management tools, etc.)
