POSITION TITLE: Post-Doctoral / Research Scientist in RNA-Based Research

We are seeking an innovative and highly-motivated individual for a Post-Doctoral/ Research Scientist position in our R&D division. The successful candidate will spearhead the design, execution and analysis of research experiments targeted at driving the development of novel, RNA-based technologies. Qualified applicants must have a solid understanding of molecular and cell biology, specifically RNA manipulation and analysis. Strong preference will be given towards candidates with an in depth knowledge of bioinformatics particularly next-generation sequencing data analysis and data analysis of large-scale genomics.

Interested candidates must have a PhD in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Genomic Research, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related field of study. The ability to contribute original ideas is essential for success in this position. Excellent organization and communication skills, both oral and written, are required as are strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

POSITION TITLE: Research Associate

We are seeking two highly-motivated and proactive individuals to join our R&D team as Research Associates. Working side by side with some of the most talented people in biotechnology, the successful applicants will participate in semi-independent product research efforts targeted at driving either the development of novel, cutting-edge technology or improvements to products currently in our portfolio.

Interested candidates should have an MS or BS in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related discipline. Qualified applicants must have a good understanding of molecular and cell biology. Previous laboratory research experience is preferred.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office products are a must.

The Technical Manufacturing Associate is responsible for conducting quality control tests on various chemicals, buffers, and other product related components in addition to the manufacturing/assembly of Zymo Reseach Products according to set Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
