| DESCRIPTION
The DNA Clean & Concentrator™-5
(DCC™-5) and ZR-96 DNA Clean & Concentrator™-5
products provide hassle-free, rapid purification and concentration
of up to 5 µg (per sample) of high quality DNA from
PCR, endonuclease digestions, or "crude" DNA preparations.
Both can also be used for post-RT cDNA clean-up and purification of sequencing-ready DNA from M13 phage. The DNA Clean
& Concentrator™ procedure is easy: Simply add
the specially formulated DNA Binding Buffer to your samples
and transfer the mixtures to the supplied Zymo-Spin™
Column or Zymo-Spin™ Filtration Plate, then spin,
wash, and elute the DNA. There is no need for organic denaturants
or chloroform. Instead, the products feature unique silica-based
matrix technologies to yield high quality, purified DNA
that is especially well suited for DNA sequencing, microarray
analysis, PCR, nucleotide blotting, restriction endonuclease
digestion, etc. The entire DNA purification/concentration
procedure can be performed in just minutes.
