Graphic Designer (Contract)

Job Summary:

Zymo Research is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our team for a contract project focused on creating and supporting a product catalogue. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for designing and layout of the catalogue, ensuring it is visually appealing, engaging, and aligned with our brand identity. Your creativity and attention to detail will be key in delivering a high-quality catalogue that effectively showcases our products to our target audience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design visually appealing layouts for product catalogues, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and company style.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing and research teams to develop strategic concepts and designs that effectively communicate product features and benefits.
• Maintain consistency in design across all marketing channels, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
• Pay meticulous attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of all graphics and collateral.
• Stay updated on design trends and best practices and incorporate them into catalogue designs to keep them fresh and engaging.
• Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance the overall design and user experience.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of Graphic Design experience with ownership of website custom experience and marketing graphics and design.
• Strong portfolio of digital graphic design projects.
• Expert in Creative Cloud versions of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Video production skills are not required, but desired.
• Strong execution capability in a complex, rapidly evolving business.
• Outstanding oral and written communication, and presentation skills including the ability to clearly convey complex ideas and concepts.

Compensation:

The estimated base compensation range for this position is $30 to $40 per hour at the time of posting. Actual compensation details will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
