Account Manager / Inside Sales (Clinic Partnerships)

Job Summary:

Stori, an affiliated company of Zymo Research, is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Account Manager / Inside Sales Representative with a strong ability to drive new business while providing technical and customer support. This hybrid role is responsible for outbound clinic engagement, onboarding new partners, managing ongoing relationships, and driving account growth. 

The ideal candidate will serve as both the frontline sales driver and trusted partner to clinical accounts, ensuring successful adoption and utilization of Stori’s testing platform.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Inside Sales & Clinic Onboarding 

• Identify, prospect, and engage clinics, providers, and healthcare organizations 
• Conduct outbound outreach (calls, email, virtual meetings) to generate and qualify new leads 
• Educate prospective clients on Stori’s testing platform (hormone, methylation, microbiome, etc.) 
• Lead product demos, sales presentations, and onboarding discussions 
• Manage the full sales cycle from first contact through account activation 
• Guide clinics through onboarding workflows, ordering, and platform setup 

Account Management & Growth 

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with onboarded clinics 
• Drive test utilization, account expansion, and retention 
• Conduct regular check-ins and performance reviews 
• Track account performance metrics using CRM tools 

Technical Support & Customer Success 

• Serve as primary contact for technical inquiries 
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with internal teams 
• Guide customers on workflows and best practices 
• Document and resolve recurring issues 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

• Partner with product, lab, and quality teams 
• Provide customer feedback for product improvements 
• Support training materials and documentation 

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field required 
• 1–5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or customer-facing roles 
• Experience in diagnostics, biotech, or healthcare preferred 
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Compensation, Benefits, and Perks:                                 

The estimated base compensation range for this position is $20-25 per hour with a commission plan at the time of posting. Actual compensation details will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
