Customer Service
• What is the status of my order?
To inquire about the status of your order, please send an inquiry or call our customer service team at 949-679-1190, option 1.
All purchase orders that are received before 3 PM PST are shipped same-day, Monday through Friday, unless otherwise stated or requested. Temperature-sensitive items only ship Monday through Wednesday to ensure that any shipping delays do not result in further delivery delays due to weekend closures.
Once your purchase order has been processed, you will receive a sales order confirmation. A shipping confirmation email containing carrier tracking information is sent once a shipping label has been generated.
• Is bulk discounting available?

• How do I request a quote for your products or services?
List pricing is available on most product pages. To obtain an official price quote for any of our standard products, please fill out this quote form so that we may provide you with the most accurate quote possible.

• I would like to return a product. How do I start the return process?
Zymo Research is committed to simplifying your research with quality products and services. If you are dissatisfied with our products, please fill out the return merchandise authorization request form to initiate the return process.
Items can only be returned with prior authorization from Zymo Research and certain items are not eligible to be returned for a refund or credit. These items include:
- TRI-Reagent
- diagnostic reagents
- refrigerated or frozen products
- reagents and standards which have passed their expiration dates
- custom products or special orders
- products missing labels, parts, or instruction manuals; and books, computer software and equipment removed from their original packaging.
Returned products (other than defective products) must be returned in strict compliance with Zymo Research’s return shipment instructions and with customer prepaid return shipping. Product must be returned unopened and in its original packaging. All returned goods will be inspected upon receipt and may be subject to a 20% re-stocking fee if damaged or opened. Once your return has been received, please allow up to 10 business days to process your refund.
• Do you offer free samples of your products? How many samples can I request?
Yes, samples are available for our most popular products. If a sample is available, there will be a button on the respective product page that states “Get Free Sample”. Simply click that button and the sample will be added to your cart.
Sample kits must be shipped to a valid business or institution address. Limit one kit of each type per customer with a maximum of three (3) sample kits per order.
Please note that the sample kit program is intended for researchers to use as a financially commitment-free method for the initial evaluation of products. Labs found abusing this intended use will be prohibited from receiving sample kits.
Accounting

• Can we purchase individual components?
Yes, most components can be purchased separately from full sized kits. To find the appropriate catalog number for the item you wish to purchase, please see the “Ordering Information” page at the back of the kit protocol.
• Do you offer products or services for COVID-19 Testing?

• What is the difference between capped and uncapped columns (e.g. Zymo-Spin I and Zymo-Spin IC)? Are they interchangeable?
The only difference is the cap. All other specifications (binding capacity, column matrix, etc.) are the same. These columns can be used interchangeably.
