    Barcode Sequences 10bp barcodes are used for all provided reactions. Barcode sequences are available for download in the 'Documents' section.
    Index Primers Unique dual indexes (barcodes) are used to label individual samples for all Quick-16S/ITSTM Plus reactions while combinational indexes are used for the Quick-16STM Full-Length Library Prep Kit.
    Required Equipment Microcentrifuge, plate spinner (centrifuge), 96-well real-time quantitative PCR system (SYBR Green compatible) or standard PCR system, and 96-well real-time PCR plates.
    Sample Input Purified microbial DNA ≤100 ng, free of PCR inhibitors.
    Sequencing Platform Sequencing of V1-V2, V1-V3, V3-V4, and fungal ITS2 libraries require an Illumina Miseq/NextSeq. Sequencing of V4 libraries is possible on all Illumina platforms (with the use of custom sequencing primers). Full-length 16S libraries are compatible with both PacBio & Oxford Nanopore instruments.
